Noob question and probably not thread-worthy...can you mount an optic on an M4A1 carry handle?
Supporting the local economy is one thing but this was a £45 order and the parts aren't available in The UK. So paying nearly 50% in top is more than a tad frustrating....

Try and avoid ordering from evike wherever possible. Nothing inherently wrong with them but with the delivery time and that items always seem to get pulled by customs, it's just rarely financially worth it.
AAP-01 came today. At work, so haven't even opened the box but on the outside the most prominent wording is "ACTION ARMY COMPANY (AAC) WAS FOUNDED ON THE YEAR 2010 AND IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TAIWAN".....errmmm cool, now I'm...errr..hyped...maybe have a little chat with Tokyo Marui about how to make an airsoft gun box, AAC.

Never will I defend a Novritsch product again. The slide stop section on my SSP1 shortstroke slide has pretty much completely worn away and is bent after a few garden plinking sessions. The customer service response is to accuse me of trying to force the slide catch through the wrong cutout...something I'm 100% positive I haven't done.
I have decided to retire young.

I guess the 'rona is to blame but just chased up where a RIF I'd bought was (I placed the order a month ago), only to be told it was on back-order and not with them yet. That's the third time in a row!
Just started watching Inception. This is going to make me want a Beretta PX4 isn't it...
Always found Bolt Action rifles a bit pointless as all the ones I had were only of average accuracy at best. However I am genuinely excited at the thought of using this that's just come back from Luke @ Negative Airsoft. The accuracy is phenomenal and bolt pull so easy and smooth for something which is kicking out 486fps.
