I don't have any gas shotguns but what I have seen from performance is that they have worse range and accuracy than a good spring shotgun, and their main advantage is the 6 shot mode, however that reduces range significantly. From experience I'd recommend any metal Cyma spring shotgun, they have proper range and good grouping (unless you get a faulty model, in which case you should return it). I play at a woodland site and use these shotguns often, they are tri-shot with fixed hop up but with 0.28s can easily reach 40-50m range, though past that the grouping of the 3 BBs will worsen. Don't believe the websites, as the power on these says 280FPS on most sites, but I have bought 3 and they all do 340-370 FPS. If its any testament to their performance, I started with one of these as my first gun (CM355LM) and play at a woodland site, they are my go-to gun and they work fine at the longer ranges. Generally it surprises the other players that the range and grouping is so good on a spring gun. Also these are essentially no-maintenance guns as they are spring. https://www.18airsoft.com/products/cyma-m870-tactical-sawed-off-spring-shotgun-cm357m?_pos=2&_psq=cm357&_ss=e&_v=1.0 https://www.patrolbase.co.uk/cyma-cm-356m-tactical-full-metal-shotgun

Tokyo Marui FNX 45 Tactical with three magazines. If you know about TM pistols, this is one of the best OOTB you can get from TM - also OOS everywhere at the moment. Selling because I couldn’t decide between this and my HK45 but prefer the HK45. Few wear related marks along the slide from where it’s been in and out of holster. I’ve recently serviced it, relubricated and cleaned internally, have also replaced the hop-rubber for another stock TM one. I’ve been running 0.3s through it but it can go up to .32s easily! Comes as pictured, with 3 magazines, all gas tight and Tokyo Marui RMR. Original box is missing but will ship in a spare I’ve got here.175.00 GBP

Arrrgghhh! Trying to clear enough space to take some photo's and found another boxfull of bits - EBR/M14, m249 main body and a Scar(?) upper in desperate need of paintstripper! (My son has a 1903, might even be the same make but I don't think he has any spares for it) -

Great reply and suggestions, thanks. I have been using the full face masks at the site I shoot at, although I did buy my son his own mask. I think I will get a full face mask as suggested. We both wear cheapish goggles when target shooting in the garage with paintball and now airsoft as there's no one shooting back at us. That's really what I brought these for. Cheers. Rick. -

EN 166 B is the lowest rating for airsoft, these look to be EN 166 F which would be not airsoft safe If like me you need glasses to be able to see, I've been using these with inserts for the past 7 years: https://www.bztactical.co.uk/nuprol-battle-pro-eye-protection-with-insert-grey-frame-smoke-lens and have taken many a shot to the lenses with them and survived. I would recommend something full seal though honestly. Bloc are highly rated and I am tempted to jump over to them myself however the pricing is a bit off putting - However you can't really replace an eye should it get damaged so 🤷♂️ My Dad uses a Dye mask over his glasses (Which are quite a large frame) too which is another good option! -

My plan was a few 4 or 5mm holes on the top and bottom of the frame, not to touch the lenses themselves. Would that be ok? I think I'll shoot them a few times before I rely on them. Id like a better quality set for sure. I also wear glasses which I assume adds an extra layer of safety? But I really know bugger all about airsoft and would never argue with the experts... Make sure they're actually rated for airsoft and be careful with cutting into them, it could weaken the lenses and cause them to lose their strength -

Lidl find. £4 I think. No vents so I'm gonna take a Dremel to it later and make some holes. Fit nicely over my glasses. Not sure if of interest to anyone. Sorry for double pictures, crap with tech... 😆 -

Unlike most sales with accessories bolted on, this one includes everything seen! EMG R611-3 Staccato P (Army Armament OEM, £130 new) bought from new, has been fired at some targets but no real heavy use. Has a nice kick and nice feeling to it. Replica WADSN X300 (£50 new) and Replica Sotac (I believe) Trijicon trademarked RMR (£52 new) Has a Maple Leaf AUTOBOT 50 Degree bucking and Maple Leaf inner barrel fitted - I messed up on the size slightly and the barrel sticks out a little as seen in the image, hence the thread adapter fitted. Priced at 60% of total cost, not open to offers. Price includes postage and PayPal fees. Goods and services only please.155.00 GBP

Had a successful game day last weekend with the OSW It’d be remiss not to treat it to an upgrade and a little add on as a treat The steel sling point fits beautifully, and feels way nicer than the Magpul one I had on previously as a place holder I’m still dicking around with the hand stop to find an optimal position for it, I may flip it round and have it forward a touch -

They're a real pain to disassemble and work on. Lots of tiny screws holding fragile plastic parts. Fun for indoor play, not good for outdoor.

I have one of the GE shotguns (albeit a model with the stock). With mine, I had to Hpa it to get any usable range (i.e more than 20m), and at that 20m range, the spread of shot from the three barrels is significantly bigger than a human body. Given the generally positive reviews of them, I can't help but feel I ended up with a bit of a lemon though.
