Description
DAYTONA GUN M249 HPA – CLASSIC ARMY.
Sadly not getting used anymore, as I am into my DMR.
Great recoil and sound, making for the ultimate support weapon.
Has just had new Daytona Gun hop rubber fitted, which will need a few thousand bbs through it to break in – always the case with the Daytona system.
Fires at around 1J depending on PSI.
Has been used hence there will be marks from skirmishing – the previous owner built the gun with a used Classic Army donor M249. The system is in perfect order.
Comes with the all-important GetSome 1000 oil – the only oil to be used with Daytona systems.
Also comes with a 2mm allen wrench (shown), as this gun has had the hop adjustment mod (see pic) enabling the hop to be adjusted without having to remove the barrel.
The Classic Army box 1200 rnd 9V mag works a treat – perfect feeding (battery supplied). It is an auto-winder - working off pressure, not like the awful sound activated A&K mag. Watch video you will see and hear it function perfectly.
The attached video shows the gun firing at just 100 PSI (this is the setting for my DMR). Ideally the M249 likes to run at around 130PSI for a decent rate of fire (max 150PSI). These guns like high quality bbs (0.28 to 0.32 ideally).
The price includes the M249 case as show.
You can test fire at my home if you want to collect, alternatively PF48 will cost £25 as it is quite large.
