Think this is G&P.. had it forever lol. Originally came attached to a Comp M2 style Aimpoint replica (30mm diameter). Only been to a couple of games, minimal scuffs, all good and working. Clamps solidly on to every rail I've tried it on across many guns with the thumb screw on the base.
The intent behind these designs originally was to still have the red dot optic mounted to the upper receiver on an AR so it would reliably hold zero, while also moving it forwards and hanging over the handguard if necessary. If you want to run a FTS magnifier (and maybe rear backup iron, depending on you gun and amount of rail space) this style mount is pretty good. Or just to replicate ARs from the 00s.
