Hiya lads,

I am selling what I believe to be a TM bodied MP5k with maybe different Galaxy internals. I say this because the Polymer seems of good quality but I am not entirely sure. It was sold to me as Tokyo Marui MP5k that "doesn't work I think", so I took a risk and went for it with the aim of it being a fairly simple to do up project. Upon receiving it I noticed that the mag release button was snapped...oh dear that's a pain I thought as Frank from Fire Support said the part cannot be bought separately. What's left of the part, I think, is in the bag of bits and I was told it could be drilled and put back together but that sort of stuff is not something I am confident in attempting. I have also been told that this button isn't required if the other mag release lever is ok as that will do the same job so it wasn't the end of the world.

Anyway, upon opening it up, it had a Chaoli motor (I binned this as it wasn't working anyway) which made me think it may not be a TM after all as I believe Galaxies are shipped with those, not a TM. The lower receiver also looks newer than the upper so something didn't add up to me. I then noticed that one of the upper pin rings is snapped...in fairness though, the stock butt plate does still hold it all together and before I opened it up, it was solidly built. On top of this, the standard mag release lever was also stiff, and while trying to "unstiff" it, it snapped off. At this point I just knew that this was not meant to be lol.

Anyway (x2), I cannot say for certain what it is, and I did take it on as "boneyard" essentially but I do not have the will anymore to try and make it all work again. Hopefully someone will be able to sort this out and give it life? It is also missing the bolt - this is available from FS though.
