Description
Bought it from Fire Support maybe two months ago on a whim. It was briefly test fired on low powered gas and put on display until today when I took some photos of it.
None of my pistols are ever skirmished, and this is no exception. It is absolutely mint. No scratches even on the magazine. It is probably the best made TM pistol I have ever owned. Build quality and function are superb. It is reassuringly weighty feels like it will last forever with sensible treatment.
So why am I selling it after never really having used it? As I say, I bought it on a whim. The appearance of the FNX45 has never really appealed to me. I think it has to do with the large curved base plate on the mag. But I had heard such good things about it I decided to get one anyway. I can confirm that it is as good as they say. However I never really fell in love with its looks. Probably just me. I love Glocks so you can tell I probably have no taste at all.
Please note that the nozzle on a can of Abbey 144a gas is not long enough to reach the fill valve through the thick base plate. I bought an extension nozzle but it was useless. So I bought some Nuprol 1 in the blue can to give it a test. Many people would simply use green gas in it, but I never do with plastic slides. It certainly seems more robust than other TM pistols I have owned so it would probably last a long time on green gas.
Box and all accessories which are included and untouched are in pretty much pristine condition, like the gun and mag.
