swordlordaj
hi there, i have a couple (not many) RIFs, some before the UKARA was even put in place! Will most airsoft sites allow me to use them with a licence? I have IFs too, as I do not have my UKARA licence yet. Or will this rule differ from site to site? Apologies for the poor wording! Thanks in advance
lemon191
you are fine to use them, the new laws only apply to selling/buying.

Supporters Rock-climby-Dave Posted March 30, 2012 Supporters Share Posted March 30, 2012 is not a license. It is a defence from prosecution. a 'get out of jail free card' if you will.
Panoptes
It's not even that. Certainly not 'automatic'. The defence is available to you to use, when in Court, which the judge may take into consideration. The defence of skirmishing doesn't provide an inalienable right to buy, manufacture or import RIFs and it doesn't give you immunity from prosecution.
