VFC showcasing their new GBBR AKS-74U

No info currently but it'll be the same system as the AV-74M no doubt. Same mags however now in a "plum" colour too.

 

There was also some "leaks" from QRF.Mag of:

 

An AKM mag (So hopefully AKM next?) and also a 40 round Molot mag prototype which looks... interesting.

 

This was also teased, a GRACH

 

Which isn't the Raptor, assuming it is VFC making it which is also very exciting for RUSFOR players as the raptor is dog shit

Nah. VFC pistols have come on a long way. Their Glocks are phenomenal.

The P365 is shit, the VP9 is shit. The P320 is shit. The PPK/S is shit.  I would rather have a TM to be honest.  VFC pistols always look fantastic but try and shoot them outside of Taiwan-esque conditions and they shit the bed.

The 74M is genuinely THE BEST GBBR OOTB I've had, it's a thing of pure beauty and a joy to shoot every time. It doesn't miss a beat either!

Nope, I spend £150 on something I expect it to work.  Now VFC gas rifles have gone up massively in my estimation, I love my FAL and I know the AK74 is great.  Not sure why their pistols are so crap.

Mine would disagree, 150 fps loss after 10 shots with multiple brands of npas, gas tube arriving broken, hop unit not adjusting out of the box... And that's just the issued I've found before getting a chance to use the thing in a game 😂

And you haven’t discovered that the hop unit was designed by a drunk dog chewing a crayon

It takes a bit of filing and reshaping to make it work properly 😂

 

The OSW  is my first VFC, I’ll continue to take my chances with GHK moving forward 🤞

Mine is lovely, shoots brilliantly.  The Heavy Recoil Discord is very favourable of them, you just got a lemon which happens sometimes.  Though I haven't fiddled with mine at all bar locking it to semi only via inserting hard resin into the full auto selector slot.  No NPAS nonsense, no hop fiddling, nothing.

Interesting. When I first got mine I spent half an hour or so trying to find out what was wrong with my chrono, couldn't believe an OOTB GBB rifle could have such a low fps variation over 20 shots! 'course me being me I've touched it since then... 😶🙃. Anyone know where to get an L1A1 fire selector? so I can finish it and get back to EM-2(s) 😄

See my post - I filled in the slot on the selector with resin so you physically cannot put it to full auto.  L1A1 selectors are like hens teeth, believe me, I have looked.

Yeah I've been asking around in the HRC but nothing has been useful in fixing it lol. Although looking through, lots of people have had poor consistency with them. I'm hoping once the new parts are fitted it should be at least consistent enough to use

Too true. I have a spare SLR AEG selector, and have got most of the way through making a 3d model of it too, but without having a spare original VFC LAR/SA58 part to hand I just don't dare cut the original one! 😬

You can buy the spare selector from VFC parts service.  I have a spare one in case I ever want to have auto back.
