Getting BBs in a VFC M4 mag (gen 3)

I'm using one of these mag shaped speedloaders using a thumb pusher. I've snapped the latter on one already. Had one of those nearly split in half and had to tape it. And yet, I can only get 17 bbs in a 30 rounds mag...

What are your solutions to get 30bbs into each mag ?

Apparently the Comrade Quiche load adapter is worth the money, though I have no first hand experience

I've never had any problems with the one that come with the gun. Both the FAL and AR15 mags seem to use the same feed lips, and I've had no issues loading either.  

 

Silly question, but are you loading from the top, and got it the right way round? Like so?

 

 

 

I'd recommend supergluing the adapter onto the loader (I did the same with my MWS one too).

 

EDIT: I've just double checked and the feed lips are slightly different between the FAL and AR15. Still load the same way though
