Mtemprell Posted Friday at 18:49 Posted Friday at 18:49 Has anyone on here played a game at Gloucester prison? Is it a decent site? I like the look of this place and thinking of booking on for a game end of November as I'm on holiday that way. (Some how cleared it with the missus and she's happy for me to go)
mightyjebus Posted Friday at 20:28 Posted Friday at 20:28 very good site and very well run. Averages 90 to 120 players every game and enough doors, path, stairs and other ways to move around without any bottle necks. Combat South have a express shop on site with everything from AEG's, Pyro, BB's Gas, torches, rigs and everything else in-between. Shop is open on the Saturday before a game day as well. Food truck on site selling burgers, hotdogs, drinks etc. Make sure you have boots with ankle support and a torch and tracer are a good idea as some bits are dark. I'm normally helping out in the shop, a bit like a shop dog, but spend my time breaking peoples guns and making up lies about how good a bit of kit is but that's ok as no one understands what I'm saying because of my Glaswegian accent. In you get there in November pop into the shop and say Hi and I'll show some good places to get a sneaky kill or 2. Mtemprell 1

I'll be on the last game of the month. On the 30th. Will definitely pop in to say hi and try understand that Glaswegian twang. Haha.

(Some how cleared it with the missus and she's happy for me to go) Only played there once, back in January 2020, right before lockdowns... it was my first ever airsoft game after my brother convinced me to give it a try, so TBH I wasn't really focusing on the way the site was run/set up as I had no prior frame of reference. Was a good site with good game modes and props. One thing I will say is to echo @mightyjebus... take a torch. There are a lot of dark (but not pitch black) areas in the cell blocks, so a torch will come in handy. Honestly want to return to this site again, but due to other commitments, I will be limited on game days for a few months... hopefully in the new year.
