Austeyr
I know normally it’s 60-70% retail, however the G36X is not available anywhere in the UK (To my knowledge) and seems there’s only evike USA with them available. It’s been converted from the “C” to a Kurz length with a standard Kurz handguard. The barrel extension can’t be removed, seems to be either glued or threadlocked by the previous owner. It has had an added integrated carry handle magnified optic with the Picatinny rail on top - However being the finest Chinese quality the reticle is essentially 25 degrees on the piss 😅 One side of the handguard retainer pin hole has been… I don’t even know what happened to it? The pin will stay in place however the flat side has to be on the damaged hole side or it will fall out It has a begadi maxx hop unit which will be factored into the price of course as well as x3 PTS EPM G-Mags Unfortunately it has also been painted by the previous owner which of course will affect price too. The price break down (Retail cost) Ares G36X - £265 (USD to GBP conversion rounded) Carry handle - £35 Hop unit - £60 (Euro to GBP conversion rounded) PTS Mag x3 - £66 Total new: £426 60% of 426 = 255 Does the difficulty of getting a G36X help the price at all? Does the paint job affect the price? Definitely need some help with a total price as £255 seems a little low for how hard they are to come by in the UK but then the other issues factored in… 🤷♂️ Any and all help massively appreciated
Asomodai
Rarity doesnt automatically mean worth more, though a "unique" rifle like a T97 or PDRC does. This is just a G36. A G36 is not rare. The fact that it's rare to get an Ares G36X I would say might factor the price down more considering how badly Ares are considered to be these days. The upgrades will hardly affect the value as well. I would say a 1/3rd of what you paid for them and you cant pass on the labour cost either. Paintjob is usually detrimental unless it's freshly done and protected/cerakoted in which case it would neither be negative or positive, but you would have to find a buyer who actually wanted that exact paintjob. Considering the pissed scope, the paintjob, brand and damage you have shown, I would say you would be very lucky to get £200. BigAl
If it isn't already disabled, disable the EBB feature or it will soon break. Bare in mind also once it brakes it will be next to worthless, maye £80/ Austeyr

Bare in mind also once it brakes it will be next to worthless, maye £80/ Yeah it already had the piston fooked when I bought it, EBB disabled and the majority of the gearbox has had new parts thrown in that aren't ares. The only thing that is still ares is the shell, trigger unit and the horrible EFCS on the outside of the gearbox. It's reliable now, just not getting used at all since I got a vfc gbbr but as I'll be selling it at a loss I'll just keep hold of it until it dies lol
BigAl
I would mate, having looked again when it does the Mags are worth maybe £20 each and you may sell the receiver body for a fe w quid as it has HK Trades. Austeyr
ButcherBill
I reckon the pin hole has maybe been drilled out to get the hand guard to fit, it's probably from a different model/brand. I had to do similar to swop hand guards on mine. Austeyr
