Yeah buddy I believe the WE G17 is pretty much a TM clone (though not 100% parts compatibility) I ran a WE for a while as my first sidearm, and it was very good And used WE or Raven mags for it with no problems, only green gas I add as I never bothered with the faff of Co2 bulbs etc ibo7

Only way to make gas cheaper is to be buying plumbers gas and using an adapter. Edited Thursday at 10:38 by GiantKiwi ibo7

Also I really don't understand why some one buys something and then say what other manufacturers mags fit. Stick with like for like. You got a WE gun get WE mags you are not going to run into fitment/seal issues. ibo7

But for me, I only tend to use half a mag or so in a typical mornings play, so that’s quite a lot of wasted gas (and its supposedly not great for the seals to leave the bulbs pierced in the mags for days on end)

If you're leaving it for more than a day, you have to remove the bulb otherwise the seals will die a quick death. 5 hours ago, BigStew said: Also I really don't understand why some one buys something and then say what other manufacturers mags fit. Because frequently, if you're relying on UK stores alone, there are never any mags in stock when you go to buy them. ibo7

I asked as the mags aren't cheap at around £30 each, I know a lot of guns share compatible parts so it's worth asking the question
