Gunner91 Posted Sunday at 18:44 Share Posted Sunday at 18:44 As the title says, tomorrow I will be the owner of a brand new mg42 from g&g. Not sure if I'm keeping it or selling it. Just wanted to know what it would sell for. Thanks for your time Ryan
ButcherBill Posted Sunday at 18:53 Share Posted Sunday at 18:53 (edited) So bought it to sell? second hand rule of thumb is 60-70% of the current cost price, with it being second hand but unused maybe more to the correct buyer. Gunner91 Posted Sunday at 19:02 Author Share Posted Sunday at 19:02 200? No dice, I've seen it range from 1900 to over 2k. Just want some people's ideas of what it should be. In the states I've seen on forums go for over 2.5k dollars, just want a fair idea on price. Not even sure I'll sell it yet.
BenJackson Posted Sunday at 19:23 Share Posted Sunday at 19:23 With the $50 discount code, it van be picked up at SWIT at the moment for £1500 before shipping and taxes. Gunner91

In saying that... well done, it's a fantastic prize. Edited Sunday at 19:40 by ButcherBill Gunner91
Gunner91 Posted Sunday at 20:45 Author Share Posted Sunday at 20:45 Aw I know man haha I was laughing at that, didn't come across that I found it as a joke over text. I'm in the uk South Wales butty 😎 I can't decide if I want to keep it, it's something I've always wanted also, love ww2 guns. And of course the mg42 is the daddy of ww2 guns... in my eyes always. Maybe the m1 garand? Lol ButcherBill

Thanks for your time Ryan I would check the QC, I just pick up a band new g&g mg-42 and it missing it front sight and the top cover won't close when a mag is installed properly. Gunner91 Posted Tuesday at 01:45 Author Share Posted Tuesday at 01:45 (edited) Received it today, all parts are there and it's a beast. Rof is great on 11.1 battery, shoots like a lazer beam. I only had time to put one drum mags worth through it mind. I would suggest greasing the stock where it contacts the back section as it can be a little stiff and lightly give it some silicone oil where the barrel can slide back and forth. Looking at getting another drum mag for it, aswell as a spare gearbox. Also yeaaah I used it haha 😄 guess if I did sell it would be classed as 2d hand now, but all in all extremely impressed 👏 Edited Tuesday at 01:47 by Gunner91
