CYMA MP5 Blue

Afternoon all, picked up a Cyma MP5 blue and was using with a 7.4v LiPo at the weekend. Seemed very sluggish and almost like it was struggling, would a 9.9V LiFe be ok, or is that gonna be too much for it standard? Cheers

If the motor is the same as the one that came in my Cyma AKS-74U (blue internals) , it's as slow as molasses - i think around 10RPS IIRC.

 

Replace it with a 16TPA SHS or similar. A 7.4v LiPo will then run the gun quite happily at around 15RPS.
