Rutt_Dj
Iv just bought a tm 416d devgru. Only the sopmod batts for it dont seem to be in stock anywhere. I see people have bought a battery adapter amd use 7.4 lipo. Just wondering if this is safe to do as i dont fancy destroying my new gun 😂  Thanks
Rutt_Dj
Just found this https://www.defconairsoft.co.uk/product/et1-lipo-battery-conversion-connector-tm-recoil/ Is that all it would take to use 7.4v lipo instead?
AlphaBear
That connector is perfectly fine. I use one in my 416 too.. You just need to make sure you buy the correct 7.4v 1300mah Lipo as the space in the sopmod stock is a tad tight... Â Also where did you get the Devgru from? Did they not offer you to buy this adapter and a set of batteries from them? Â Edit: 2000mah battery works fine (see post below)
Mostly Retired Moderators L3wisD Posted June 24, 2020 Mostly Retired Moderators Share Posted June 24, 2020 @Rutt_Dj - Just seen this on ebay. But someone is selling an entire NGRS stock with the lipo wiring. Zero bids so far, with three days to go.  https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Tokyo-Marui-TM-Recoil-Shock-NGRS-VLTOR-Airsoft-M4-Stock-LiPo-Battery-Mod/143636610142?hash=item217168bc5e%3Ag%3AOioAAOSww0Be7kLU&LH_Auction=1  It's a VLTOR style stock though, so not sure how it'd look on a
AlphaBear
The battery which you need to fit into the SOPMOD is the following.  It's a VP 2000mah 7.4v crane stock and it fits perfectly into an unmodified SOPMOD/Delta/416 stock.  Component shop sell them:  https://www.componentshop.co.uk/7-4v-2000mah-20c-continuous-discharge-airsoft-lipo-split-pack.html  EDIT: You may find that the butt cover may have issues... if so get a single stick battery as opposed to a crane stock.. Pick up the 1450 mah batteries. They will work fine...
