Hi thank you for your reply I have a bison 310 it seems ok for the small price I paid for it but just looking for something a little better. It's mainly for me and my son to enjoy. And that you're buying 2-tone guns from BBgunz4u style sites? If you let us know exactly what you want to use the guns for, and your budget, it would help those folk who are into springers to give the most useful advice. They will land a BB on a man sized target. But if you are aiming for a bottle then the chances of hitting that significantly reduce with range. If all you want to do is plink then this is fine, but don't expect a better gun to be vastly more accurate, Especially a spring pistol. I think you are looking at BB guns rather than airsoft guns. There is a significant difference. Cheap spring pistols (bb guns) are also designed for 0.12g bb's. We don't use those in airsoft. We use 0.2g and heavier. This means our ammo is significantly better, more expensive, but it's finished correctly rather than just been the super cheap cast plastic bb's. If you were to use the 0.12g bb's with an airsoft pistol and barrel it would jam due to the inconsistencies with the outer dimensions. Airsoft guns are designed for a little more range, Have a fair bit more power, and can look realistic if you have the UKARA defence to buy a realistic variant. However anyone over 18 can buy an airsoft gun if it is brightly painted. And most airsoft retailers offer a painting service. Airsoft guns are also generally designed to be used, Rather than just been a rarely used fad. This means they have a higher level of build quality, and are generally more durable. My advice would be to look at the BB gun websites and look at the prices, And compare that to airsoft retailers. It's fully automatic costs £50 + £10 for two tone + postage. You will need BB's for it as well. Been an AEP it's electric, Will shoot fully semi auto with every trigger pull. And it's got a full automatic mode. All you would need in addition to it is a euro plug adapter. Best bit about going that route is if you like it, and want to progress into airsoft the gun is perfectly game legal. Far more accurate than airsoft. But very much not game legal. Provided you can get to a shop that sells them the only requirement is to be over 18 to buy. You'll be looking at a similar price to airsoft for a starter pistol. Most are Co2 powered. There are also Co2 airsoft pistols that have blow back. Same deal as every other airsoft gun, must be 2tone painted to buy without defence. More realistic than an AEP or a springer, not more accurate, and you need to buy the co2 capsules for them.
