alsknvfvnzikusg Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 ive been looking but i dont know which brands make good ones. I like the G&G one though.
Guest Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 None of them, they’re all too mirrored for anything other than a bright and clear outdoor game
Tec-Spek Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 None are any good, Ive tried plenty. They all lose zero, they all ghost, they all have that horrid mirror finish on the lens. absolute sh*te the lot of em.
Moderators djben9 Posted September 30, 2018 Moderators Posted September 30, 2018 yeah i agree, ive got 2, nuprol and Gbase i think, they are really now only used more for looks and low light games! ....not buying a real one for shooting plastic death when a bit of wind and its off the other direction Let me know if you do find a decent one
MILITATED Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 To put another nail in the coffin, none. Bought a £70 XPS from ProAirsoftSupplies a year back, returned it within hours. Bought a similarly priced (like £100?) G&P EOTech with EOLAD unit (granted this was a 551, not XPS), same issues as below. Got that fancy XPS with all the updated markings and whatnot from DavesCustomAirsoft (like £160 for that and the magnifier, luckily I got it second hand) but was exactly the same. Stupidly dark, heavily reflecting rear lense (great if I needed to get a glimpse of myself mid game). It was also somewhat distorted (slightly oval, rather than circle) with ghosting on pretty much every setting. Even the lowest brightness had it, just very faintly. Moral of the story: Airsoft EOTechs are quite possibly the worst optics you can get. Which sucks because they are my favourite aesthetically.
