emilianoksa Posted August 18, 2018 Posted August 18, 2018 On the real steel it is necessary to dry fire the Glock before slide removal. The trigger is fully back as the two tabs are pulled down. However on video I have seen users of the WE version do this with the gun cocked - trigger all the way out. Which is preferable with airsoft Glocks? Or does it not really matter? Perhaps the instructions for the real firearm are to do with safety considerations rather than any mechanical issue. What do you do?

emilianoksa Posted August 18, 2018 Author Posted August 18, 2018 Thanks. So trigger position is irrelevant?

emilianoksa Posted August 18, 2018 Author Posted August 18, 2018 Thanks. So opposite of the real steel then.
Mostly Retired Moderators L3wisD Posted August 18, 2018 Mostly Retired Moderators Posted August 18, 2018 Yeah. The way I do it cocks the pistol so you can slide it off in one swift motion. I've seen guys cock the gun, pull the tabs down then push the slide forward. Just quicker/easier to do tabs first then back and forward in one movement in my opinion.
E21A Posted August 18, 2018 Posted August 18, 2018 Personally I lock the slide back, pull the tabs down and release the slide and pops off the front
