Nicky blue eyes
Ok, now its time to get my new toy I'm looking at a JG g36 0838 with an optical sight built into it. But is it worth the extra or is it beter to get one with out, with a normal rail? How survivable is the sight or changable if it dose go pete tong? Any experiances would be greatly appreciated. MILITATED
It's probably a better idea to go with the railed version as opposed to the carry handle/optic version. After trying a variety of G36 carry handle/optic units, it's safe to say that the optic isn't the greatest and you'd be much better off getting a rail mounted optic such as an EOTech 551 replica. If you decide to go with the g36 carry handle and the optic gets shot out then you'd have to buy a whole new carry handle. Best of luck!
Nicky blue eyes
Good point. Cheers. At least if i choose a railed sight and it gets shot out its easy enough to change. Thank you
Supporters Samurai Posted March 16, 2017 Supporters Share Posted March 16, 2017 That scope is so tiny, it's very uncomfortable to use on airsoft ranges and speeds. Surprisingly, JG's version is as good as the real steel - not that durable of course. As said, it is better to have the railed handle so you will be able to use a proper sight for your playstyle. Which is a red dot probably.
Nicky blue eyes
Well I think that settles it. I just didn't want to buy a gun for the sake of a cheap sight that might not be all that any way. thanks
