AnotherOopsie
Hi all, Due to get my UKARA through soon and have settled on the idea that I'd like to get myself a nice MP5. However, I'm currently torn between the ICS MX5A5 - the one with the sliding/retractable stock, And the Umarex H&K MP5 - with retractable/sliding stock and 3 round burst. Does anyone have any experience with any of these and could point out any pros or cons about them? Thanks.
Guest PT247
Umarex don't make guns they just rebrand them usually with the real gun trades (hence it being marked as a H&K). ICS make lovely guns mostly although I have no experience of their MP5s

Not trying to pull you on anything but I'm looking at buying an MP5, what makes you say they are the best, what are you comparing it on?
Supporters ImTriggerHappy Posted December 13, 2016 Supporters Share Posted December 13, 2016 Been inside most brands of MP5's and the ICS is just better made. There arr 4 main brands in the UK TM, G&G, UMAREX rebrands and ICS. Umarex is very hit and miss. G&G are ok. Nice externals but average internals. Tm is solid, reliable and will perform well. Ics performs well and comes in lots of models and is the best built of the lot. Go for one with the split gearbox like this one. http://www.fire-support.co.uk/product/ics-metal-mx5-p-mx5-ms1-airsoft-gun-aeg
