Howdy! Again, hoping this is in the correct place!

Can anyone suggest a good "starter" pack for AEG's?

Birthday is coming up soon and I dont think it would be a bad present from the Mrs. So any links to good sites/good packs are appreciated, obviously only IF packs right now until im in with UKARA

I like the design of the g36 and m4, but maybe something different would be nice? I live around what seems like small(ish) woodland sites as well as some CQB sites. But am willing to travel to go to bigger places so pretty much a "one size fits all" for now

Budget - £0.00-£200.00 maybe slightly more for a starter pack until I get UKARA then i'll dig up my chest of treasure.

Zeroone does a few bundles. Think they're out of stock, though. Is that £200 for your gun, accessories, boots, face / eye protection, BB's etc?

I already have boots as I do shooting anyway, not fussed about BB's.

Think before you go ahead and spend £200 on a bundle. I would suggest to buy protection first (don't know if you have some) so spent as much as you can on good eye protection and boot(you already have some), keep playing with rentals till you sort out your UKARA and put something on the side till then and buy a decent gun on which you can actually rely. Take in consideration the act that you will need batteries, charger, magazines (unless you plan on running high caps only) so that's an extra cost.

Thanks for the post. Although, I have already thought it through. I'd like to get myself a starter pack just because it covers most of what I need for the few months until I get UKARA rather than hire as that way I have a spare should anything ever go wrong and can also lend to a friend who I will bring along with me, so they do not have to hire.

With protection I would rather suit that to myself as posted in a previous thread so I'll end up going to my local shop within the next few days/weeks.

Have you tried bundling the gew parts together yourself? Some cracking deals to be had on some beginner rifles

zero one, airsoft zone do starter packs

might be worth contacting a member on here:

he was doing some a couple of good G&G deals & might put together a package for ya

range of guns might not be so vast as the bigger retailers but if you are looking for a starter gun then most likely a Raider will suffice

then perhaps look at a more higher quality one if you stay hooked on peew peew

Good to visit a shop if you can to get to hold an aeg you are thinking of buying though you got a rough idea of what you might want to start out with.

it is hard to suggest an actual gun model/make - basically anything half decent will do and be as good if not better than a possible knackered hire gun (they can get well used & abused a bit)

after ukara - well world is your oyster tbh
