Supporters TheFull9 Posted September 27, 2016 Supporters Share Posted September 27, 2016 Anyone bought any of these recently?http://www.ebairsoft.com/combat-pants-woodland-p-9463.htmlhttp://www.ebairsoft.com/combat-pants-p-9419.htmlOr, obviously, any of the same model in a different pattern/colour? They make a version I'm interested in because literally nobody else is making it, but the sizing chart seems weird.I'm a 32" waist which you'd think would be a medium (usually is with any other brand) but their chart seems to indicate I'd be a small; a concept I'm struggling with when it comes to a chinese-manufacture gear brand given they're all notorious for coming up smaller than they say. They're cheap enough it wouldn't be the end of the world if I got the wrong size, but if anybody's bought this model recently or knows anyone who has, your experience would come in handy. Of course I've contacted EB as well, but I'm not entirely sure I'd trust their answer (if I even get one).

So I have purchased TMC and Emerson trousers....both fitted me well, however, I had to go a size up. I am a 34" waist and had to buy a 36"

Supporters TheFull9 Posted September 28, 2016 Author Supporters Share Posted September 28, 2016 Heh, no I've got the 'Open Knee' A9s from Beyond to cover Woodland, it's Grey I'm after. Arktis make some but the stretch panels are black and it sets my OCD right off. I've asked around many custom shops and nobody can get hold of grey NYCO, can't find any of the raw fabric for sale anywhere either (after a great deal of searching). Even more annoying, I asked Mr Crye at SHOT and they have bloody made the things but it was only a tiny run for god knows who (wouldn't say). He asked if that was something I'd "like to see done?" and of course I was like 'omg fuk yeh bro totes' and I'd imagine they might do it eventually, but who knows really. Supporters jcheeseright Posted September 28, 2016 Supporters Share Posted September 28, 2016 Ahh, fair enough. I had an old set of TMC ones a few years back and they ran a little small, but they have by all accounts upped their game significantly since then so my experience is certainly irrelevant now. Supporters TheFull9 Posted September 28, 2016 Author Supporters Share Posted September 28, 2016 I don't expect amazing things, but I've seen enough people running the stuff as their primary uniforms over the years. Yeah it'll fade quickly but I've got better stuff for using at long games, they'll do for the occasional sunday indoors at the mall or whatever if I fancy it. I've got the old Talos trousers in Wolf which are nice of course, but I prefer the Airflex kneepads to the Arc system. Hopefully CP or Platatac or whoever will eventually getting round to making some.
Mack
I've only had the old G2's a while back but I would definitely go a size up as both sets I had were a tight fit and busted the crotch out when I took a knee.
