Bencupra Posted February 8, 2016 Posted February 8, 2016 Morning gang I've got a quick question. The GHK M4 doesn't have colt markings on it unlike TM guns. Which isn't a major problem as can get them engraved. The Soocom website does actually let you buy a GHK from the website you just tick a box to have one with markings. If I got one with the markings would it be a problem with customs? Or would they not worry as long as ukara was on box etc. Thanks
Baz JJ Posted February 8, 2016 Posted February 8, 2016 Customs shouldnt care about trade markings. They are only interested in the fact that its a toy and it has the UKARA number etc.
Bencupra Posted February 8, 2016 Author Posted February 8, 2016 Sweet that will save me the hassle of having to strip it and send the receiver off. Cheers Baz.
Supporters TheFull9 Posted February 9, 2016 Supporters Posted February 9, 2016 Yeah you only see that option for covering trademarks at retailers because of yankistan. In the land of litigation and guns, corporation's gun trademark laws/copyright holdings are actually very strictly enforced by their customs. British border force wouldn't have the slightest of scoobies about that the trades on an M4 or Glock or whatever would even look like; long as you comply with the VCRA you're good.
Bencupra Posted February 9, 2016 Author Posted February 9, 2016 Sweet that's good to know mate cheers can't wait to get it and start playing.
