Are the "want to buy GUN for £" threads generally by people ineligible to purchase from shops?

I notice these threads on a lot of airsoft forums, and they make little sense otherwise, most forums bother to include "over 18s only" in their rules.

 

A post like this just screams "rip me off". I and I feel a little sad when I see this.

Most of the time yes. Ive replied to a few over the years and when asking for a defence to purchase they either dissapear or sling a load of abuse at you.

I replied to a few, but from now I on I will not.

I only ever stick them on when the store is out of stock, in the faintest hope someone may have what im after!

This is not the same thing, this is people who "want GUN", rather than "want GUN:[make/model/condition]".
