mattswan2512 Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 Hi all am currently looking for a ris rail foregrip for my m4a1 carbine ics. I have been looking on ebay etc for ris rails and have seen loads but i have no idea wich one i shuld buy in terms of length and if it will fit etc etc. could anyone shed anylight on this for me as they are going fairly cheap (chinese copy) and if it breaks well hey ho its not the end of the world. Also i currently have the two plastic grips with the battery inside at the mo but has anyone ever done a ris kit conversion on this rif and if so how do you go about it. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Supporters Rock-climby-Dave Posted November 7, 2010 Supporters Posted November 7, 2010 all RIS systems that say 'm4' will fit it. as for a conversion, its just take the old handguard off and put the RIS on it, most split like the forgrip does normally. just remeber that you loose the battery space, so either rear-wire the gearbox and get a crane stock or get a battery box for the rails.
abbadon101 Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 If its an ICS M4 then you need an ICS RIS as no others will fit without modification.
