G&g cm16 on a lipo?

Hi guys, before I buy a lipo for my cm16 raider, can I use a 7.4v lipo in it without blowing the gun to bits?

Yes 7.4V shouldnt be a problem. Use them on my G&G Gen 2 which doesnt have MOSFET
