Mouse is okay.

Headphones seem a bit placebo.

I would cancel and buy these http://www.amazon.co.uk/AKG-K550-High-Performance-Closed-Back-Headphones-Black/dp/B005CNR7B0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1407328733&sr=8-1&keywords=akg+550 and a fiio e10 to go with it. but thats my own opinion :)

The marshall's post 2011 are crap, OEM'ed by the same factory as the Beats junk. As for using reference headphones for gaming? Nope. Just nope.

The mouse is pretty basic, and isn't particularly great if you've got hands larger than that of a child. These were aimed at those using claw grip, which over long periods of time is a carpal tunnel waiting to happen.

Really? D: My old pair were amazing! This upsets me muchly! I'll have to look at something else - in terms of them needing to be optimised for gaming, they're more for general use as well as gaming so I'm just looking for all round reasonable quality. Seen some good Seinheisser sets for about the same price - the only other thing I think I might want so far would be a set of wireless headphones for when I'm in the mancave performing my great manly works (wires of course not being conducive to extreme manliness).

Any recommendations for an upper budget of £50?

I've got fairly medium sized hands but I'm used to smaller mice so don't think it'll be an issue (I already have carpal tunnel as well, if anything, more carpal tunnel would be nice 'cause then my doctor might pull his finger out his anus and do something for me on that).

Hmm, That price range plonks you squarely on Sennheiser HD429's, you won't get any worthwhile wireless ones sub £200 (PS4 ones are not bad, but they don't work with PC's), If you had a slightly bigger budget, I'd say stretch to Beyer Dynamics DT770's, i've got the Pro's as my headphones to take to LAN's, and they've performed admirably, especially as I often mute the in game sound and listen to music :P

+1 on Sennheisers. Never had a pair I didn't like!

On the CTS front though, having had both hands operated on I would say harass your GP into making him do something about it. I'm fortunate enough to have medical insurance through work so I went private for mine. Serious CTS is horrible though, I wouldn't wish it on anyone. Have you tried night splints? Helped me quite a bit.

How about these?

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sennheiser-Closed-Back-Over-Ear-Headphones-Dynamic-Black/dp/B005N8W1MO/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1407341790&sr=8-3&keywords=Sennheiser+HD429

They look the same as the 429's sans the microphone (which I'd never use anyways).

My mouse just arrived, actually pretty big and actually seem to want me to do the complete opposite of a claw grip :)

I use a variety of splints and supports for my wrist, mostly they're pretty effective - my GP might be getting a visit soon though!

Now all I need is payday for my headphones and for my laptop to turn up Monday!

Gaming headphones are placebo at the end of the day, using reference or monitor headphones is 100000x better than using EXTREME MLG RAZER placebo stuff.

Personally I use ath-m50s hooked up to a fiio e10 and a blue snowball mic. Although I would like a delicious valve amp HNNNNGH

You hear music as it should be and great bass too, not fart bass like beats (btw beats are horrible and way overpriced).

With headphones you need good mids, good soundstage and good bass.

Gaming headphones only really have good bass and thats about it.

I have been in the technology bussiness for a while now and its my primary hobby/interest.
