eyes
Hi all, I'm a total noob to all this but I love paintballing and field taget shooting. I stumbled across airsoft when I brought my latest multishot air pistol and wish I had brought an airsoft instead. At the moment I dont have any airsoft guns but have a very expensive rc helicopter that im too scared to fly so when I get rid of all that kit I will have a bundle of cash burning a hole in my pocket. I have a lot of swotting up to do but any advise from you guys will be greatfully recieved.

Cheeky vimto
Have you read this; http://www.airsoft-forums.co.uk/index.php/topic/17294-ians-guide-to-noobism-on-a-tight-budget/ It's a good place to start to get most the info you're after. Best thing to do really is rent for a bit before you committ a lot of money into this hobby. If you want to start buying stuff start on boots, eye protection, gloves. eyes
Thanks for the replies, im looking through the local skirmish sites near me at the mo. I will invest in the clobber required, I do have some already from aintballing ( ah see, I left the P out especially for Bazz jj ).I take it that my standard camo attire would be sociably acceptable along with my aintball gloves? Theres some pretty sexy masks out there that I have noticed, I would have to go for a full face mask as I wear glasses also I dont want to spoil my rugged good looks! You could wear glasses and get a half face mesh mask. I find with full face masks it covers up too much peripheral vision so I go with glasses and half face mask. Russe11
Better to have Goggles and lower face mask with glasses. Full face masks trap moisture that will fog your glasses.
