Hi. I'm thinking of buying a kjw mk1 with extra mags and was wondering do those fast reload 1911 mag pouches fit mk1 mags. This is the pouch I mean. If these ones don't fit, can anyone recommend me a puch like this, thanks.

Looking at the Kj Works Ruger MK1 here, it shows that the mag is single stack, which is the same as most 1911's AFAIK. Prima facie then it seems like they will fit, however if you read what JustPistols have to say about the mag, they recommend using tape to prevent the BB's falling out of spare mags. So yeah, tape... will stay stuck in place as you push a mag down into a fastmag pouch, but what about when you pull it back out? Probably not, eh?

I think your best bets are either a different pistol, although by the sounds of it, it's pretty good apart from that mag issue, or go with old skool velcro lid pouches.

I do like the look of those fast reload pouches but if they don't work then (I'm presuming you're looking on TaiwanGun by the picture) they do also stock cheap double pistol magazine pouches for around a fiver but I'd VERY HIGHLY recommend you buy a pouch for pistol magazines from UK Tactical as they have a sale on a load of Warrior Assault System (milspec quality really good) magazine and utility pouches including pistol mag pouches for even less than the cheap TaiwanGun bad quality ones.

If they have sold out now then Patrol Base sells Templar Assault Systems (AKA Trojan Tactical) pouches and I've seen a tan double pistol magazine pouch for around £9 or £10.
