Karljohnmason
RightI know all the rules and law on painting a gun, having read up on it.My question is, what spray paint is best? I've recently bought a sr-25. it has a pretty nifty faded tan paint job. i want to change it to similar Olive Drab paint job. So I'll have to restore it to black, then paint it OD. Supporters jcheeseright Posted January 2, 2014 Supporters Share Posted January 2, 2014 Get the tan paint off first, use fairy powerspray or similar to scrub it off then give all the parts a bloody good wash in cold water, that'll bring the gun back-to-black and give you a good starting off point. After that, here's a decent guide:
Russe11
Although Krylon is best, I have had good results from poundworld car bumper matt black paint on a plastic gun. And would you believe its only a pound a can?
Karljohnmason
Cheers guys I'll give the video a proper watch when I get back from work.My local Airsoft shop stocks Krylon at £8 a can, so I think I'll go with that
