Mike636 Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 Hello and welcome to the forums http://airsoftoperator.com/tutorials-your-first-airsoft-gun/ http://airsoftoperator.com/starting-airsoft/ Have a peruse of these and if you like what you see don't forget to add us on Facebook and twitter!
Supporters Ian_Gere Posted October 5, 2013 Supporters Posted October 5, 2013 Welcome to the forums, mate. If you have any questions, don't be shy, ask away. Unfortunately there is a small industry surrounding the sport which makes its money by selling shight, which may just about have a place in a kiddies' back garden battle but genuinely may not even be good enough for that, as skirmishable guns and gear. Obviously your mate can advise you also, but before you spend anything more than a tenner, I'd get people's opinion here. And steer well clear of any website with bb in the name...
Baz JJ Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 Welcome to the forum. Its a happy little group. I tried one of the others but it was run by some very strange characters who seemed to think only the forum site crew were allowed to have opinions.
AndySpence Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 Hey dude! Welcome to the site - I'm pretty new myself.. I'm in Carshalton myself so let me know if/when you fancy going and we shall get something sorted. Enjoy dude!
Shinobi Posted October 6, 2013 Posted October 6, 2013 Welcome to the forums! As Ian said, steer clear of website's with BB in the name, and stick to website's like:http://www.airsoftworld.net/http://www.actionhobbies.co.uk/http://www.landwarriorairsoft.com/http://www.proairsoftsupplies.co.uk/andhttp://www.zerooneairsoft.com/
Cripvw Posted October 6, 2013 Author Posted October 6, 2013 Yeah he has shown me all the sites to go for Already got some kit too Just need to get some skirmish action under my belt then buy my g&g rifle and a glock!!!
Supporters Ian_Gere Posted October 7, 2013 Supporters Posted October 7, 2013 don't bother with a pistol for a while - u will not need it - u will hardly ever use it - u are better spending the money on spare mags for your AEG and maybe a red dot optical sight, or a BFG. Oh yeah, and don't forget gunfire.pl, http://www.sklep.airsoftguns.pl/, & airsoftpro.cz <- EU countries = no import tax or VAT from customs And http://www.bullseyecountrysport.co.uk for things like springs and uncommon ammo
