TacMaster
I wouldn't bother with a helmet at first, plus if you aren't going to spray that fast jump in OD it really won't match the '95 stuff style and colour wise. I'd get something like this to start. Otherwise, that's pretty good
flanders56
haha the helmet was my favourite part XD I wouldn't bother with a helmet at first, plus if you aren't going to spray that fast jump in OD it really won't match the '95 stuff style and colour wise. TacMaster
Tbh it'll get a little hot to wear when you're running about, and as you aren't doing a PMC or US special forces themed loadout It'd look a little daft. Plus all the '95 stuff is an 18 year old design, wouldn't really work with a modern looking helmet

Supporters TheFull9 Posted August 18, 2013 Supporters Share Posted August 18, 2013 IMO, old school woodland camos with modern helmets and dessie colour accessories looks pretty sweet and there are some pretty awesome pictures of SF guys' loadouts which've been done that way. I wouldn't recommend that combo deal on the apparel though, it's very cheap no denying that, but you've no idea of the state it'll be in and the issued black boots are bad enough when you've broken them in to your own feet let alone what they might be like when they're shaped to someone else. Check out the BULLE stuff on flecktarn.co.uk for load bearing kit (andn indeed almost anything else you'd need for airsoft really). Not far off real world quality but just as cheap (if not cheaper) as a lot of the junk out there at airsoft retailers. This is generally the rig I'd highlight to new players: http://www.flecktarn.co.uk/sdtmb6nx.html
Supporters Ian_Gere Posted August 19, 2013 Supporters Share Posted August 19, 2013 I disagree about the clothing. There's loads of DPM around so dirt cheap doesn't necessarily mean badly worn at all. The waterproofs and socks are a bonus, but TBH I'd much prefer Goretex (I do actually have DPM Goretex kecks and jacket). Those boots could well be unissued, but as CKinnerly says, they're bastards whatever their condition. I wear German Para Boots which are much more comfy, but still hard work if you're used to trainers. I'm not too sure about the helmet either. I'd also advise against goggles with lenses, because they fog. Mesh never fogs. Good choice of mask - you can get them in woodland camo colours from KH Mountain on ebay. Vapex are the best batteries for airsoft and you can get them and a charger from Component Shop for the best price.
Hudson
I've ordered from there several times and to be honest; they've been really good every time; I've ordered a good few sets of grade 1 boots and they actually seemed to be almost unused each time. lethaldave
that sling doesnt fit the sling mounts on a cm16, the sling mount is to thick for the lock to close, already tried it on mine, so get a different 2 point mate, if anything go 1 point. Or get a 6mm locking carabiner to attach to the CM16 sling mount, because a lot of slings use those clips. They're about £2.99 for a pair.
