Very quick question.

The site i am a member off has issued me a membership card, on this card there is my UKARA number :D .

My question is how oftern is the UKARA self checker updated? as i am getting "Player not found" :(

Once you are on UKARA database you should receive an email informing of this, then you will show on self check. normally this happens within a few days of obtaining UKARA at a site.

The sites do not automatically enter you on the UKARA database. You have to take, or post, a UKARA application form that has been signed off by your site to an airsoft retailer and they will enter you on the database. Your site CANNOT add you to the database UNLESS they are also a retailer (e.g. F&O). If you haven't completed the form then you will not get on the database, although if you take your membership card to a store it is confirmation of your entitlement to buy RIFs. Just don't expect it to work if you are trying to buy online or import from HK.

The self check is frankly pants.

I've been on the database for several months. I have my acknowledgment email, I have confirmation from several retailers that I actually appear on the database, but my details draw a blank on the self checker. Bit annoying for buying privately as when people check it I don't appear, then have to send them proof from a retailer that I actually AM.

Check that UKARA have your correct e-mail address recorded, as that could be why it isn't coming up when you selfcheck. Have you asked a retailer to check your UKARA number from their connection? If so and it still doesn't work, go back to the store that put the details on and ask them to check what they entered, as somet5hing as silly as the wrong letter in the name could result in no positive search findings.
