Hibernator
Component Shop are great if they get the order right first time, but if it's wrong then their after sales is almost none existent. I ordered a couple of batteries and a couple of adaptor leads off them a while back and only the leads showed up in a small envelope. I chased them for the batteries a few times but got no reply and it was only resolved when I filed a Paypal dispute. Even then they sent me an email saying they were going to reship the batteries "you claim didn't arrive" - basically intimating I was trying to rip them off! I try not to use them now, but they seem to be the best place for stock tube sized batteries. I got my charger from RC Helicopters online and get a lot of batteries from Giant Shark ( http://www.giantshark.co.uk/ ). They normally come with weird connectors so the first thing I do is convert them to Deans myself, but the prices are fantastic. These fit perfectly in a PEQ15 box and can be charged at 5c (in about 10 mins!!!) http://www.giantshark.co.uk/charge-loong-tipple-1300-2s1p-20c30c-lipo-battery-p-404350.html Would you believe in getting that link, I've just noticed they've started doing stock tube Lipos too!! http://www.giantshark.co.uk/gens-1200-2s1p-lipo-battery-airsoft-p-406614.html Bye-bye Component Shop from me

kev.k
Do maplin sell decent chargers? I prefer not to use mail order.
Tariq
Maplins is horrendous!!! Every time i go into one i just end up laughing at how expensive everything is. If you're worried about online sales, buy from a major airsoft retailer.
dimente
I'm not sure but I can try and find out for you at the weekend unless anybody replies first
kev.k
I just get sick of waiting for everything, and it always arrives when I'm at work. There aren't many airsoft shops around Manchester.
Hibernator
I think First and Only is in Manchester... Airsoft guns use exactly the same types of battery as radio controlled cars and helicopters. If you have a model store or radio control store near you then you'll be able to buy batteries and chargers easily enough - usually at much better prices than airsoft retailers.
