Tariq Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 Thinking about chucking a few upgrades into my Umarex G36V. Looking for more range and accuracy. Tight bore wise, Prommy or Madbull??? (guessing the G36 is 509mm) Should I get a new hop rubber to go with this... and what one??? Dunno about any gearing / mechanical stuff. Doesn't seem to be a problem at the moment. Any other suggestions? Other than what i can think of, a mosfet and moving to lipos. firing at 330fps fyi. Any help would be appreciated.
joshcowin Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 madbull v2 are the dogs,i would say a r hop with either a madbull shark or a firefly rubber,re-shim,7.4 lipo and a ascu fet will see vast improvements in trigger response and rof
johnnyj Posted October 11, 2012 Posted October 11, 2012 ascu will not fit in the G36 . I dont recomend any type of mosfet with it as the recoil will make the micro switch bounce giving lots of problems that will lead to killing the fet ( AB only ) . my self if your wanting to spend time and cash on it , as above good shim job make sure the piston is not showing any signs of wear damage ( piston head is known to crack ), tm hop unit with a better hop rubber as the ares blue is very soft and can damage very easy , use .25's if your not already and bring the fps up a little to help push the .25's along
