Danch
Hi. My friend and i have just started airsoft, and were thinking about getting pistols as our main weapons as the site closest to us is close quarters. So, could anyone tell me a good reliable pistol, preferably that you can get quite alot off bb's into (i know it wont be nearly as much as an AEG). If anyone could make some suggestions itd be much appreciated! Thanks
Supporters TheFull9 Posted September 24, 2012 Supporters Share Posted September 24, 2012 Pretty much any Tokyo Marui. You've not said what your budget is, any other preferences you might have in terms of the firearms you'd like a replica of, or whether you've completed your 3 skirmishes and gained a VCRA defence, so adding those details to aid in people replying would be a good move. Danch
Id say around a budget off around 250 for pistol and some mags? And im getting my Ukara this month so am just getting some info beforehand to help me decide what is good to get and I dont really have any preferences on looks to be honest but I did see a usp match or something that looked quite nice! Supporters Ian_Gere Posted September 24, 2012 Supporters Share Posted September 24, 2012 If it will be your main weapon, you'll need quite a few mags. Unless you're loaded, you'll probably pleased if you can get some of them 2nd hand, which means that you'll be able to do so easier if you get a popular pistol. Off the top of my head, the most common seem to be, in order, 1911's, Glock 17/18, Beretta M9, Sig Sauer P226 - maybe these last two could swap places... Aha! Well I can say that my USP copy is an excellent fit in my quite large hand. The trigger guard is made to allow for ease of use in gloves too, and the grip texture is undroppable! Silent7Sniper7
I have a CYMA Glock 18, its electric & a clone of the Tokyo Marui so it will work with the same mags etc. Its semi & full auto & its a great little gun. Plus no need to worry about gas

Tariq
TM or KWA/KSC KWA/KSC are metal and most are NS2 type so work just as well in the cold as the TM (plastic) ones.
jaeproductions
I've got one of those Palco USPs but I'd also reccommend the CYMA Glock 18 AEP. I think it's about £80 and extra mags can be brought very cheaply from airsoft-club.com, they're about a fiver each, probably around £8 with shipping (even for the 100 round extended magazines) People have also had special batteries made for them. Obviously if your price-range is £250 though don't ask me, because I'm only a beginner and haven't got much experience with different types of pistols. I just know everybody says Tokyo Maruis are really good. There was an MEU SOC at Patrol Base -I don't know the manafacturer- but it looks and feels awesome. Danch
Haha yeah ot sounds good its just the fps being quite low worries me! I really like the look of some kwa and tm pistols, but the mags seem to be quite expensive!
Tariq
get what you pay for though. My KWA P226 is nearly a year old and the mags are still faultless and have no leaks what so ever. Only problem ive had with the gun is the rear sight decided to go walkabouts mid game and the hop rubber finally needs replacing. Great range and accuracy though. Can out range most standard aegs. Danch
Thanks for the help! Even though ny reply is extremely late! Decided to go for the kwa m93r and I should have it Sunday, mainly due to it having the 3 round burst and ns2 system, so hopefully it'll be fine haha!
