Accuracy Issue

Hey guys,

Have an issue with my suppressor (or so I thought)

Might just be a coincidence, but since attaching my new suppressor, my gun's accuracy went haywire. I used to be able to hit a can at the end of the garden no issue. However, now there is up to a meter circumference grouping from about 25M.

So, I took the suppressor off... But there is still the issue - I've cleaned the inner barrel with silicone oil, tried adjusting hop up but the accuracy issue seems to have stayed.

I have no idea what's causing this as it was fine this morning.

Thanks!

It can happen. If you set it up perfect and leave it for a week it can change.

No idea why, but it happens to me all the time.

I assume you've not altered anything, like the barrel or hop, or had the gun apart. 'Cos if you have then that's your problem right there.

At that length it shouldn't interfer with the BB's.

My KWA MP7 silencer does make full auto hit the guy standing 90 degrees to where you're aiming at, but thats because its pretty long and the flashhider attachment and the spring inside shake alot.

I'll tell you what I thought of first off... that if you've messed with the front end, it could be that the inner barrel has slipped in relation to the outer barrel, or come loose there. But if you haven't had it to bits that seems unlikely. All the same, you could take the inner barrel out and wrap a bit of electrical insulation tape around the end so that it will jam into the centre tightly (assuming you make sure that the tape is full circumference with each layer you add, otherwise it will be off centre towards the direction missing a layer). As a guide, I can get one whole circumfernce of LX tape around my AK barrel, any more won't fit in the space available, and it has stopped the minute looseness that was there previously.

I'm stumped then. I'd go for the "take it to bits and put it back together again" solution. It sometimes works...

There is no simpler solution that that, other than leave it for today and try it tommorow

Well, i've stripped the gun completely down. Cleaned hop up bucking as there was quite a buildup of silicone oil.

Put the gun back together...

Will check tomorrow and see if the results are any better!
