TheAmerican
First off I didn't become interested in Airsoft because of Call of Duty or whatever other shooting games there are. Airsoft has always been something I wanted to try and I have the chance to buy an airsoft gun. I am not going for springs or gas. As a beginner I think electric will be a good start, but if I am wrong please tell me. I really do not know which gun to get, and when I say which I do not mean type of gun what i'm talking about is "quality" I have found this and i do not know if it is worth the buy because I do not want to buy it and then it breaks. http://www.justbbguns.co.uk/product/66/BB-...S/267/M805A-PRO Any advice will be much appreciated. -The American

Now onto your question in short no its gunna be pants ask your self 3 things 1. Will I give up airsoft after a few games? 2. Will I get ukara registered? 3.will I want to preform upgrades to my aeg in the future? If u answer no, yes, yes then hold out and use a hire gun untill u get your defence sorted then buy an rif from ics, gng etc you may even find a good second hand rif on the sales section on the forums but as with anything u get what u pay for and expect to spend around 130 upwards for a good entry level aeg that you can upgrade Hope this helps as its the advice I got from the guys when I asked a similar question. TheAmerican
Ok thanks guys for your input really helped out a lot. It seems ideal to just hire guns till I get my UKARA or go for that g36. Quick question tho if I bought a two tone gun that is decent and I received my UKARA would i be able to paint it?
kungfumonkey
Yes as soon as u have your defence sorted u can paint it
TheAmerican
I found this and i think it is pretty good i think it is pretty good the battery and charger is sold separately and i would have to tick the two tone option if i decide to get it befor the UKARA thing http://www.zerooneairsoft.com/product_info...roducts_id=6981

Range is slightly limiting in Woodland or other large outdoor scenarios, but anything up to 40m and you're good. I have a review in the AEG review section if you want to take a look. http://www.airsoft-forums.co.uk/?showtopic=5679 Bear in mind I have the more expensive metal version - but the internals and therefore also the performance, will be the same. Thanks Ed I read your review and it helped out quite a bit. I have decided to get it its just a matter of time and saving money although it will be awhile because I have already booked flights to Washington D.C for a month, but I know of a site to skirmish at there You mentioned for skirmishes that you'd recommend fitting in a tighter barrel if I'm right does that increase the range on the weapon? Depending what you go for you would be expecting an increase in power, range & accuracy...MP5 is quite a short barrel so I dont think youll add too much range but some power and accuracy will be your mains. Supporters Airsoft-Ed Posted June 21, 2012 Supporters Share Posted June 21, 2012 The difference won't be a huge one but you will notice it. Tight barrel, use .25s and maybe upgrade the hop up as well. I wouldn't touch anything else as the gun is absolutely flawless.
