Saltyyy
I currently play airsoft as a 16 year old. Because I pretty much play every 2 weeks (Now becoming every week) I will have easily gotten the 3 games in no less than 2 months requirement for UKARA. I fully understand I cannot join the database until I am 18, aswell as purchase R.I.F/I.F rifles. But when it comes to my 18th Birthday, will I be able to send off the letter to UKARA to put me on the database straight away? Or will I still be required to play the 3 games in no less than 2 months, even though prior to being 18 I have fulfilled the criteria needed? Thanks alot! Supporters Rock-climby-Dave Posted May 28, 2012 Supporters Share Posted May 28, 2012 send it off right away. All you need is the site to stamp the form and you're away - send the form into a shop yourself - don't let you site do it, they often take ages to get round to it. Most places add you for free and it should be done instantly - it takes all of 2 minutes to add someone onto the system (I should know, I get to do it every bleedin' week)
Saltyyy
Sorted mate, so if I take it into my nearest shop (JD Airsoft for me) then I would be able to purchase R.I.F's right away? Want to go and grab a R.I.F to treat myself on the day! Another question (Should have remembered to put this in...) I see alot of websites say you need a UKARA number or Site number. Would this also class as someone who has not played the required 3 games in 2 months? Or would it be a case of the site owner selling them one knowing they're a site member? paperpirate
yes as soon as your on the system you can get yourself a nice shiney rif to play with and i'm pretty sure your site number is the same as your ukara number
Saltyyy
But I have a site number on my membership card. I understand this will be the code used upon gaining UKARA. But I'm taking it as, even though I do have a site number, that's still not valid, even though it doesn't specify whether it must be a site number with UKARA, or just the site number by itself. I'm guessing it means you do need UKARA to go with your site number, but just want to be sure.
paperpirate
once your on the database use your membership number and that is all you need, or your postcode. like you said before go to jd airsoft and they will be fine to serve you
