Sup folks,

Just eyeing up my options really. I can't keep my bearded dragon where I'm going to be living next year and whilst he's is a total boss/G6/Chuck Norris Lizard/T-Rex etc, it's just not something I can actually do or I'll get kicked out of my house.

I'm just wondering if anyone with any herp knowledge can advise me on what I should do with him.

So far I've got:

-Give him to someone else to look after for a year.

-Give him to a reptile shop to rehome properly as a freebie for someone they trust, sell the viv and setup.

-Sell him and the viv.

What do you reckon AFUK and how should I do it?

If I were you, I'd give him to someone else (who I know well and trust) to look after for a year, for you to then take him back at the end of the year.

That way, you know he's safe and in a good home, you'll still get to see him if you want, and you can have him back in a year's time.

Bearded Dragon breeders maybe up for taking him for a year, They get new blood, You get him a home with someone who knows how to take care of a Bearded Dragon and He gets his hole :P

At the moment the girlfriends' mum is saying she'll have him, but this wouldn't be a bad idea; he's a golden-morph, golden iris dragon, which is basically saying "he's a diamond made of a million diamonds, each of which was mined by another diamond".

My only thing is, I'm not sure that even after the year is up I'll be able to take him back, or whether it would be fair; despite being a lizard, he is AWFULLY affectionate towards people he knows :/

As for reasoning with my accomodation providers, they're a nationwide company called UNITE and they're pretty much fixed on their rules etc...
