metal pistol

so i was looking through some old stuff in my attick, and i came across a bb pistol.

upon looking at the pistol i noticed that it was abit dangerous because it shoots 4.5mm steel BB`s

 

the stats to the pistol are

caliber: .177 - 4.5mm steel BBs

velocity: 320 fps - 98 m/s

power range: 70 yards - 64m

magazine capacity: 18 BBs

weight: 1.98lb - 898g

length: 8.6inches - 218mm

shooting system: spin up

 

basically im wondering if there is any plastic bbs i can get for this weapon. if not im gona have to get rid of it as i dont fancy having something like this around the house if its not of a use

I have had a good search and can only fins metal 4.5s.

 

These guns are £90 new from a online shop based in London. My local place sells them for £110.

I found some 4.5mm plastic bb's online the other day, hang on and i'll find you the link.

 

I did see another post about this kind of thing and was wondering myself but i'm not sure how well it would work...

 

It appears SMK used to make them: 4.5mm SMK BB's, but unfortunately they seem to have been discontinued.

 

Found a few more old links too but they all seem to come up as discontinued... looks like the both of us are gonna have to take a hit to the bank balance and buy a dedicated 6mm pistol
