The Super Shit Rifle - 15

"Don't open it we promise everything's fine just don't check because then you might break it" Uh huh
It actually makes sense, given the tech experience of the average Nov's customer (absolutely zero, otherwise he wouldn't have customers at all).

It is also a way to fuck people over the shitload of complaints he will be getting once the first batch gets delivered.. "told ya not to open it, now warranty is void, fuck you"

but I essentially knew at that point he was being told what to use, not making his own choices.
Big sad right there.

Makes me wonder if he ever had control of his products development.

IMO, yes. I think once he started getting that company money he realized life was good and started his own products. It stopped being a hobby and started being a job.

He really pisses me off at the beginning of the video where he opens the case like Jesus H Christ and the baby Orphans themselves are going to jump out of it.  Like he has found the Holy Grail, Lord Lucan and the fucking Maltese Falcon rolled into one.  Jesus its a fucking airsoft rifle not the cure for fucking cancer.  Twat.

'Here it is....the biggest rip off since Del Boy started bottling Peckham Spring."

Marketing wise it’s a sweet spot.

target audience see it as a VFC (well known) plus magpul (Gucci) and a Gate Titan (sounds expensive) plus the bellend’s seal of approval ( fanbois) for not much more than buying the parts separatly.

would I buy it? And let it touch my TM master race loadout?? God no!

the problem is the titan might be the top end of mosfets, but it's a demanding piece that requires the rest of the box to be built with certain restrictions and to a high standard.

i'm gonna place bets that the gearbox grease messing up the sensors is gonna be the number 1 complaint on these.

That's if someone braves buying it and losing warranty by opening it up to check haha. ?

In my on-going spat with Novritsch's customer service team I've just raised this issue. If they refuse to assist with issues I'm having on a simple GBBP part, what's going to happen when they're swamped with e-mails from teenagers whose Titan's are beeping at them like R2D2 with tourettes.

it comes to something when you feel like you have to video your every interaction with a product just as proof you didn't mess with it.

also looking at the shooting video, do we wanna place bets the gun he's personally using has had a little more tlc than the end product?

Yes.

Usually his prototype guns are the ones with the better performance, but in this case the prototype was utter shit (BBs going all over the place) whereas his "production model" is spot on.

I'm still pretty sure he rebuilt and tweaked that gun to make it look flawless.

I wonder if anyone who ponied up the 50 USD/Euros preorder deposit saw the final spec and price and said ‘nah, fuck that’.

this is the thing, you can have nominally the same gun on paper but a bit of tlc in the assembly will make a drastic difference to how well it performs.

i mean that's pretty much why there's a market for people like negative airsoft.

Many people on his FB and IG pages said that they were going to cancel their preorders.

I read through a few comments prior to its launch and the general consensus with people who had pre-ordered, was that they though the final price would be about 200 euros....

Refundable or is he just laughing the other side of his face?

Believe it's refundable. Those who pre-ordered had 48hrs to complete their checkout if they wanted it. If not they just get their money back. Not sure it would be legal (certainly not moral) to do it any other way, seeing as they had no idea of the final price.

Wonder how many in a batch if the first 3 batches are sold out? Multipy that by 500 euros.

What he has done has far excelled any other single personality in the airsoft world (which wasn't hard being as the standard was limping donkey rebranding BB's). It's a crying shame the brand can't be an honest and wholesome entity.

I'm going to be contrarian again and say that he's not doing anything wrong except for giving customers the warranty run-around.

Nobody is being forced to buy these.  It's a consensual transaction.  VFCs Avalons are already about £400, throw in the Titan, the hop rubber, stock, grip and mag and a case and you're at about the retail price of the separate parts.

Sure, the video is a steaming, sticky load of marketwank aimed at starry-eyed rubes, but if you believe the claims from someone trying to sell you their own product, that's on you.

And loads of these will doubtless shit themselves, either due to the VFC issues that keep @Armourpiercing supplied with more work than he can handle, or the Titan being mis-fitted by some child slave labour shaking from hunger at the end of a 14 hour shift.

But all that said, I fully expect that he will give customers the run around when the claims start to come in.

Caveat emptor.  Really, really caveat it.
