    Amazing what you can find when sorting through kit and gear, just found 5 hop rubbers I didn't know I had

    Hand-held Dyson to hoover up bb's from the garden is great because not only is it practical and quick but they whizz around the cylinder like those toy lawnmowers from the 80's!

     

    Also, is my AEG supposed to be this loud?

     

    My phone is quite some distance from the RIF itself and when firing it shouldered it makes my ears hurt, think I might take a set of plugs next skirmish!

      If it's the bang that hurts, a few things I've seen cause this:
      - Short barrels, not enough time for the sound to dampen in the barrel.
      - Open backed gearboxes (ones like G&P's with the rear windows)
      - High volume cylinder (higher than you need)
      - No sorbothane padding on the cylinder head making the smack much more noticeable.

      If the whine is annoying try reshimming it and fiddling with the motor height.

    well, finally after more time and money than i'm comfortable i now have an m4 with a hair trigger and a working mosfet. now all i need to do is figure out why it thinks the fully charged lipo is low

      Are you using a 7.4v and the mosftet may be hardwired or programmed to look for 11.1v?
