    Can anyone help me? Why are my strings snapping (11 - 54's) when I'm tuning to Drop C?

      You're most likely turning the tuners too fast. Either that or you buy some real shoddy strings!

      Which end are they snapping? If it's at the bridge the break angle across the saddles might be too sharp for the increase in gauge.
