try the gunfire pellets platinum pellets i cut the things in half and they looked solid no sign of an air bubble

it is indeed ian the cyma48 akm i will stick by my plan on what you have just written and do nothing to the hop up or hop rubber.A mad ball tight bore barrel has been put in however which i hope will do no harm, and only improve things. As things go i am probably going to need .25 bbs or heavier to take advantage of the hop up the thing is barley on at all and achieving this range.

so i finally had the chance to shoot the akm and i am quite impressed 50m's out of the box, im not going to lie it out ranges my 350 pound g&p m4 from airsoft zone. the wood is actually quite passable for being decent once wood stain and sand paper has been used. also there is plenty of room for a 8.4 volt stick battery and i think a nine volt would work to but i have not tried this yet. The gun is currently being re weird so i can use two batteries at once, so for 180 pounds i have a gun that is extremely versatile and out shoots my much more expensive guns with the hop up needing to be virtually off for .23bbs or it over hops, i am very impressed and slightly annoyed.

ok so have not had the chance to test fire gun at apocalypse (long story that involves my mates setting off without me.) i cant comment on how its firing when its pay day i will send the gun off to be checked out

ok so on the sheet i have from them the chrono figures are 345,340,342,346,339,347,345,346 and the last number i cant make out looks like 345

ok so it looks like they may have changed the spring afterall not just cut it as i found an old spring in my box which was interesting considering i never got charged for another spring i also like the fact they test the gun before shipping as well we will see how it stands up tomorrow tho and i shall post a review of the gun later. i also did not see that option but emailed them straight away spoon

i find it interesting my akm went straight through customs with no questions did not even open the package but my gearbox was delayed by a week strange people

i was thinking calling customs would make things worse but i might be doing just that in the morning no dought there will be some sort of argument with them its an aeg tho so i might get lucky.

cyma 48 akm from Taiwan gun i have been hearing good things so looking forward to testing it

this is proving very helpful guys keep it coming im not short on tools as me and dad are constantly working on our own bikes and cars and i got reasonable at soldering on my motorcycle maintenance course,my main problems where i need help is knowing where everything goes, how to shim and how to time the gears properly. i take the point about more expensive gear boxes but i have a cyma 28 version three gear box to hand and short on funds so im starting with that. seriously any useful tips or tricks keep them coming im going to make an attempt at it tomorrow.

maybe shipping prices have raised and they just cant afford it to be fair there not outrageous and still cheaper then the uk if you want bad shipping prices check out the us retailers there charging more then it what costs me to get car parts shipped to the uk outrageous
