  1. Overall rating (1 - 10): 10

Would you deal with the trader again (Yes / No): Yes

Any other comments: Top bloke. Great communication, very helpful and accomodating. Many thanks!

  2. Had a bit of a splurge this month to relieve the melancholy of not having been able to skirmish for a while. :(

    Have managed to snag:

    M110 Spring

    Angel (prommy copy) straightpull trigger

    9 x G&P ball ball 130 rd midcaps

A pair of Desert Lowa boots

    A tan radio pouch

A pair of Emerson G3 multicam trousers

A pair or real Crye Precision G3 airflex kneepads

    A Garmin Foretrex 101

    A 7.4v 2600mAh Lipo

    Some Blaster 0.25g tracer rounds

    Some Blaster 0.25g normal rounds

Used shotgun cartridges to make my own shotty primer adapters for the BFG.

And most of it will get an outing this weekend!

  3. Nope, can't make the forum paste anything.

Search ebay for "Bianchi 580 Speed Strips"

Seller I used was "rrdav7", but there is another one (who I didn't find before) whose shipping seems a little cheaper.

You need the 0.38/0.357 ones, not the 0.45s

I'm really pleased with it. Works like a charm and takes up next to no space in admin pouch/pocket.

The heroshark tube looks good though...

  4. I drew a blank (no pun intended) looking for them in the UK. Ended up getting them through ebay. This guy is in Texas (yee-haw), but with tracked shipping it came to approx £14. I ended up getting three pairs and splitting them out between a bunch of mates as I only needed 1 strip, so it was £7 per strip.

International shipping was quite prompt too. Seems like a decent seller.

    Dagnabit, can't paste the link!

  5. Not sure that a Glock mag would hold revolver blanks, Ed. You can get automatic 9mm rounds with no flange (snigger) on the base, but they won't work in a bfg. Just slip through the adapter (I *may* be speaking from personal experience in buying the wrong sort...)

I use a Bianchi Speedstrip to keep 6 blanks handy and easy to load.

  6. Forgive me father as it is many months since my last confession.

OK, Since I last remember posting in this thread I have bought:

Dynatex VTG and 50 9mm blanks

    MAP pack and bladder

    Tan Bulle Chest Rig

Tactical Tailor Belt and assorted pouches

    2 x Motorola XTNiD radios

IBH helmet in multicam dip and attached Comtac 2s

Heroshark lenses for my ESS V12s

    Noveske/VLTOR lower/Upper receiver set

    Noveske 7" free-floating ris

    8" outer barrel

    229mm Madbull inner barrel

Another Madbull 3 in 1 hop

    Noveske Sound Hog

    VLTOR trademarked tracer silencer

    VLTOR emod stock

    Element Stock tube

    2 x 1400 mAh 7.4v lipos

    Lipo charger

    Magpul Pistol Grip

    G&P Gearbox from Evike

    G&P M120 motor

    Speed tuneable trigger

    Eotech XPS2 replica

2 x KWA Glock mags (standard cap)

    Madbull chrono

    Foretrex 201

D boys ambi mag release catch

    Element polycarb piston

It's been a while, but now I set it all out, I feel a bit bad! LoL

Completely upgraded the old CA sportline whereby I replaced every part and then rebuilt the original. Spare gun for backup/lending to mates. Win

    Armoury complete.

The AR is a Classic Army M15A4 sportline carbine with RIS. I'm happy with the external mods on the M15. (Eotech 552, Eolad 2, single point sling mount, suppressor, angled foregrip, mag-pulls). Might get a rear BUIS in future and maybe some magpul XTM rail covers, but other than that the outside is how I want it. Internally it's stock, but fine (pretty accurate and consistent 310-315 fps), although a madbull 6.03 tbb and a velocity enhancing hop bucking are on the future wish list.

Glock is a completely stock CYMA G18C AEP. Firing around 220 fps. Bought for £15 from a mate who had not used it for 4 years and he didn't know if it would work. Got a £7.99 battery from JD Airsoft and it worked like a charm straight off the bat.

All on a shoestring, too. Everything you see in the pic has been acquired for £251. Amazing how much money you can not spend if you try. Advice would be take your time, do some research, have some patience and shop around.
