Yep, that makes sense. So much for my cunning plan. I don't want to piss off the landowner. Thanks mate.

Guess that answers my question. I wanted to shoot at one of my permissions, but I can't if they won't break down quick enough! I'll still leave it soaking for a bit anyways.

I brought some bios, and out of curiosity I've put it in a glass of water to see what happens. After 5 hours it's still rock hard. I'll give it a few days to see what happens as long as the wife doesn't throw it away.

Most expensive of the lot. And noisy as f*ck. Was a ww2 version that they'd brought boxed and unused. For me, the pump action shotgun was my favourite. Especially with the heavier shells. Kicked like a mule as they say. Both had bruises afterwards. 😆 Luger was pretty cool, but smaller than I expected and kept jamming. -
I have a solid plastic hard case for it already, but I appreciate the advice. Cheers Bill.

Almost 15, and yep I insist he wears a full face mask no matter what. No mesh or anything else. He has been shooting for almost ten years. We both shot full auto live fire in Krakow, Poland this year, and he has great discipline and common sense. He gets that from his mum of course. Hope I'm allowed to post that picture, I can remove it if not? He chose that one, I went for luger, 1911, uzi, AK, Tommy, and all the ones ive seen in the movies. Expensive but worth every penny. I shot 15 different ones, him 13. Made our holiday, can't wait to go back. Wife is Polish, so will go back again soon. Found out about Taiwangun, so have another reason to visit now -
Bloody hell, this place is only about 5 miles away. What a piece of luck... Spoke to the guy on the phone and I will pop there with my MP5 in a couple of days to get a couple of batteries. Bargain.

No offence taken at all mate, I'm here to learn... Thanks for taking the time to reply. I'm a pussy who doesn't want to get hurt, and especially not see my son get hurt. He's far too expensive to replace... Cheers Rick. And yep stupidly is far too common these days. Far too common. -

Long as I haven't offended anyone... 😆 I have no intention of letting anyone shoot at me with lidl eyewear, they were only for target shooting. But I do get and accept the honest and decent advice. Thanks. On a different note, I brought the CYMA blue edition mp5 for sale on here and am very excited... Can't wait. -

Cheers guys, I'm not buying anything till I go the my local site/shop I want to try before I buy. If I'm spending that much money I want to see it fits nicely and is comfortable. This post headed in a direction I didn't expect. 😆 I only wanted to share something I'd seen in lidl. -

I'm a little intimidated by the prices of the quality face masks, but I know if we going to do this regularly and safely I need to invest. Thanks again. -

Great reply and suggestions, thanks. I have been using the full face masks at the site I shoot at, although I did buy my son his own mask. I think I will get a full face mask as suggested. We both wear cheapish goggles when target shooting in the garage with paintball and now airsoft as there's no one shooting back at us. That's really what I brought these for. Cheers. Rick. I appreciate the advice mate, thank you. Yep, the garage is safe and I have a padded and secure backstop to reduce ricochets. I do shoot sub 12 ftlb airguns in there without issues. I usually wear a set of Stihl chainsaw goggles over my glasses. (Found em in garage when we moved in.) As I mentioned he has a budget brand, (but the same as my local site hands out) full mask as I quite like the little shit.... But lesson learned thanks guys. I don't want either of us to get hurt. Thanks for the replies. -

My plan was a few 4 or 5mm holes on the top and bottom of the frame, not to touch the lenses themselves. Would that be ok? I think I'll shoot them a few times before I rely on them. Id like a better quality set for sure. I also wear glasses which I assume adds an extra layer of safety? But I really know bugger all about airsoft and would never argue with the experts... Lidl find. £4 I think. No vents so I'm gonna take a Dremel to it later and make some holes. Fit nicely over my glasses. Not sure if of interest to anyone. Sorry for double pictures, crap with tech... 😆 -
Yep, I thought it was just me as I'm new here.

Thanks mate.

Thanks for the welcome. I can see it's going to be an addictive and expensive hobby... I've a ton of questions, but I'll look thru the old posts before I post much as they've probably already been asked already a million times. The bio ammo, are they any good? I've ordered some as I have access to some land for my airguns but it's shared with livestock and I don't want to cause them any harm. Rick

Hi, just discovered Airsoft. We fired a few at Operation Market Harborough tank show and decided to visit our nearest venue which was outpost Chester. Had a great time, and ended up coming home with the Poseidon thesus M4. Will definitely be going back soon, and will likely a be adding a few more to our collection. Already own a fair few airguns and paintball co2 markers. (25ish) But don't tell the wife.... Looking forward to learning from you lot on here. Thanks. Rick 50, Andy 14.
