I've brought a couple of cheap m4s to let my mates and my sons mates use, to encourage them into the hobby and lower the costs when they join us. £100 ish, but won't let them have optics or tracers on them. I also brought a cheap Sniper rifle for £50 for a skint disabled mate so he can get involved too. That's as far as my generosity goes tho. Won't let em touch my more expensive gear.

I'll let you know in a couple of days... Hope it does take a tracer tho. Watched some videos on a full auto version it looks amazing 🤩 Might have to save up

Only got the one kid so i don't mind spending. I want him to have the best I can afford and to be the envy of his mates. Thanks again.

I'm considering the raven hi capa its almost half the price of the TM one, so I can get more mags and the HFC HG-138 Mini BB Launcher for the same price. Is that a silly idea?

Thanks for the reply, the gold match has classic looks and I like it too. but I think he wants more bling... There's split slide versions I see, not sure if they any better tho. They all seem to be tracer compatible which appeals. There's an overwhelming amount of choice. 😆

Hi all, it's my lads birthday soon and he wants his own shiney new pistol. We already have an ssp2 so I'm thinking another hi capa would be ideal. I'm assuming id be able to use the existing mags with either? He wants a gold one. Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated. Is it worth spending more for the Tokyo marui one? Or just get one of the cheaper clones? I see some with integrated/attached red dot sight, are they removable or permanently attached please. Many thanks.

It proper pissed down for the first half of the morning, only 2 rifs got wet luckily. Wiped em down as often as possible and all my gear is now in the "gun room" with the dehumidifier going. We had a great time, we took plenty of shots and have the bruises to prove it. Thanks for the advice guys.

As advised by a few of you on here, I purchased some new eye protection for my lad. I got the nuprol glasses for him while I tried to use a fairly standard mask I already had with an ex fog thingy. Due to the rain and humidity I really struggled and couldn't see a thing after a few minutes even with the fan. Being I spent so much on Rifs, I decided to get something that improved my vision and enjoyment of the game. It was a massive improvement, and I could actually see... Definitely worth the money, and hopefully will keep us both safe. The goggles didn't stop him dropping and losing 2 mid cap mags... But the great lads at the site helped find them and returned them. Lol

Mines jammed with all my tents, camping and hiking gear too. Why have one tent when you can have 4 or 5. It's like go outdoors in there. The wife refuses to enter or clean it. 😆

Brilliant, thanks guys. I shall follow your advice. I always keep them all inside when not in use and I can put a portable dehumidifier in the room overnight to remove any excess moisture. I can't be the only one with a spare bedroom named "the gun room".. 😄

Probably a stupid question, but just how waterproof are the aegs? Trying to go Airsofting this weekend but the forecast is predicting rain. Id rather not destroy our new toys, but my son is desperate to go. Any advice gratefully received. Thanks. Rick.

I wasn't sure if I was allowed the plates, as I never see them for sale. Got it from a mate who came back from Afghanistan. Swapped it for a sword cane, lucky really as they banned now and he had to dispose of it. If no one here wants it, I'll take it to a military show next year. eBay fees and PayPal puts me off. Thanks for the replies. Yep they tiny little plates, but better than nothing I guess. Hope our current military have something better to rely on.

Had this for years, not something I'm likely to use. Is this something anyone on here would be interested in? If so, how much is it likely to be worth please? Cheers mate, been a great week. Brought 2 great rifs both off two great lads, both called Sam from here then this lovely bundle. Heartbreaking parting with my airguns, but I think I got a bargain. Me and my son haven't stopped smiling all day. Hammering thru the BBs.

There's one of those defogging things in the bundle, exfog it says on it. There's so much stuff it feels like Christmas. He has a full face mask, but can't wear it with the helmet. I wear glasses so I want it anyway. I'll look for some decent quality goggles before we go shooting next.

Today's new toys, did a trade for a few of my air rifles with a gentleman from g trader. Absolutely over the moon, my son is ecstatic. All works as he described, and he threw in so many extras. We have hammered thru BBS since we got back. And It only cost me 20 quid of diesel and we made a new friend. Today is a great day. And I won't be letting him use the mesh goggles, they came in the bundle but I know they are not safe enough. 😆
