If someone walks up to the chrono, says they're shooting .28s, then the fps is 240 the marshal chuckles and says, "it's running a bit low innit?" It's not like it's unheard of for a gun to shoot at 1J or even less. Not everyone has RIFs tuned to 0.00001J below the limit. You might pick the odd cheater out with this interrogation, but you'll "catch" 50 kids with two tone shitters for every actual cheater, and hold the chrono queue up for an hour.

That's a solid deal for sure. NPAS as standard in GBBRs would be great.

Honestly the more Enshittification sets in on social media, the more I'm going back to forums and similarly curated spaces. I think the biggest space I'm in nowadays is the HRC, and that's mostly to ask people which end the BBs come out of and how much green gas it takes to fill a badger.

I think the only issue with that is gunna be gas guns. My MP7 can do indoor play on .25s and outdoor on .32s without changing the NPAS. If you loaded .36s, it would absolutely shoot hot. It's handy with indoor sites though because the highest they should be using is .25s in most cases, (Bio and Depot both limit to that). Also it doesn't really change the supposed risk of someone turning up with a bag of .4s with a .25 label I guess.

Quite a few times. One time they sent an entire team home because the buggers were messing with their HPA setups and cranking the power. Marshals ambushed a couple of them with a spot chrono check and they were 1J over lmao. Generally players just behave themselves. It helps that most of them still think you should run .2s because they go faster.

Man, can I get a list of sites yous play at because if this is a genuine concern, I'll swerve them ngl. Have not had this much fuss about BB weights and cheaters at my local sites, thank fuck.

I genuinely don't get what you're talking about with the eyepro there boss. A half joule higher shot can tear the straps? Or something about skin foam contact? Isn't your skin already contacting the foam?

If it is, you need better eye protection tbh. Like you should be able to take some ijit with a boltie hitting you at point blank, because it happens.

I mean yeah, there's always one arsehole I guess. Maybe I'm lucky that sites I play at have 90% decent players who take the rules seriously. Cos fundamentally whether someone calls a hit in this game is based on trust. I've watched plenty of players cheat my hits, even after I've made them flinch and shout about it hurting. There's tonnes of ways to cheat in this hobby but it feels like taking roids for Sunday league football at a certain point lmao. If someone is gaming an extra half joule by using heavier BBs and risking being outed as a cheater for it, it's just pathetic innit.

At a certain point you just have to trust other players tbh, otherwise why bother? It's all an honour system anyway.

I don't think there's much for new gas snipers, though you can make VFC or GHK ARs into a bolt action with the Maple Leaf ARBA. Runs really well, surprisingly. For gas DMRs there's many more options. Basically any 7.62 rifle is pretty decent, some may need more hop up shimming than others to be excellent though.

They should do mid game chrono checks where you empty your loaded mag for the BBs to be weighed. If it doesn't match the claimed weight then they hang, draw, and quarter you in the safe zone during the lunch break.

Damn, yeah I don't do indoor play without earpro after the one time a teammate threw an impact grenade at my feet. Even the cheap foam buds can help a little.
