  1. Make friends with an American online and get them to buy it on your behalf, repackage, and ship it to you. Just make sure you're not ordering any pressure bearing components such as barrels, gas blocks, bolt carriers, etc. (Why would you anyway?) Customs doesn't give a shit about furniture, get your pal to slap your UKARA on it just in case.
  2. Man. People ruin this gun constantly with this paint job.
  3. That's just Ali Express gear. Either that newbie has been thoroughly lied to by whoever sold them that stuff, or they're a real bullshitter lmao.
  4. Man, UsedAirsoft seems particularly shit
  5. "Selling my total destroying A&K MK46 all metal and ways like the real thing this thing is no joke 70m 'real meters' with 32" This is so wanky lmfao
  6. Yeah AEGs have the issue of always needing somewhere to stuff the battery.
  7. Yeah just CNC a handguard that's a great idea. 90% material wastage lmfao. There's a reason machine shops will laugh you out the door if you bring CAD files intended for 3DP to a CNC house. Additive and subtractive manufacturing are completely different, and on top of that most machine shops will just not bother with a single run batch of possible firearms parts. Not worth the money or hassle.
  8. That's not the same as selling a parts kit though is it? I really don't get what your point is here.
  9. Yeah it's a 3DP kit, people want something that's machined typically. I mean they're going bananas for that Saiga Groza kit rn. I tell ya, someone will buy it.
  10. Is it a bullshit price? Yeah. Is someone probably going to buy it? Also yes. It's a niche collector's item that there's not really a modern replacement for.
  11. My mate can't answer it she goes to a different school. She is real though shut up.
  12. I'm sure they're fine, I just look at the Longsword Package and question the value of it. That said, I've worked in hi-fi sales in the past. Selling gold plated, inline filtered, quintuple shielded cables to wealthy idiots taught me that honestly they will spend that money either way. Might as well chib them for it. Idk I do my own tech work, it's part of why I don't bother with AEGs these days. I'm a tight fisted Scottish bitch like that. Oh he's charging extra for every attachment? Cheeky. Yeah that's a pisstake price at £795 for the gun. I'd also question his tech work, the VFC SR25 needs some serious TLC to shine. When you're £250 above Dave's price then you know you're just taking the piss. Imported would be half that price.
  13. KoA work drops the price IMO. God I remember some local ijit with an NGRS who had paid for KoA's most expensive package. Trying to shift it for £1800 naked with one mag. Tried claiming that £1000 of KoA upgrades made it a Godkiller that could print sub MoA groups at a mile. Absolute wank.
  14. Yeah it's like a lot of "compostable" bioplastics, they need a specific temperature and environment to break down. https://news.sky.com/story/lavazza-and-dualit-adverts-banned-after-making-misleading-compostable-claim-13358504 Companies are constantly trying to pull a fast one by claiming you can just chuck their waste in your compost bin.
  15. Love the role of Back Garden Shooter to pretend an absolutely shite collection of guns has some use case.
  16. Oh no, they only break down industrially, Bio BBs will never naturally compost. It's why they're BS. People talking about bio BBs swelling and the like are typically having flashbacks to the chalky, old ones that used to be around before PLA ones cirnered the market.
  17. Yup, especially outdoors. You're right that they're BS but it's the site's demands. Geoff's seem to be a bit out of stock lately though.
  18. I will admit I have sat in the corner throwing peanuts when the TAD WhatsApp Sales chat kicks off. They're very easy to get riled up in there.
  19. Some Discords and WhatsApps I've peeked in feel like back in middle school, when boys tried to outdo each other on slur count per sentence for brownie points. Absolute lack of patter. Plus just not actually having any knowledge to share.
  20. Clearly the answer is for every site to buy a sub-Joule resolution Strain Gauge to accurately measure actual impact energy, combining it with a chronometer to measure the velocity, and thus infer the actual BB weight. I'm sure the very cash strapped Airsoft sites we have will just get right on this, it's only a couple of grand in precision measurement equipment.
  21. That's uh, that's a bit of a mental price right? It's like £450 new so even adding all the "upgrades" it's not looking great.
